1-18-21 THOUGHTS

GRACE is one of the awesome words of the Bible!  We get everything for nothing.  Rom 5:6
The TRUTH is that GOD is the INITIATOR and SUSTAINER of ALL that is good!
John 1:14-18    And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. 15 John testified about Him and cried out, saying, "This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me has a higher rank than I, for He existed before me.’" 16  For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace. 17  For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ. 18  No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him.
Eph 2:3b-10   and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest. 4
But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5  even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6  and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7  so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8  For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9  not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10  For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.
Col 1:5-6    because of the hope laid up for you in heaven, of which you previously heard in the word of truth, the gospel 6  which has come to you, just as in all the world also it is constantly bearing fruit and increasing, even as it has been doing in you also since the day you heard of it and understood the grace of God in truth;
2Cor 8:9    For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.
2Cor 9:8   And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed;
2Cor 13:14   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.
1Cor 15:10    But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me did not prove vain; but I labored even more than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me.
2Cor 12:9   And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
2Tim 1:9-10    who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity,  10  but now has been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Christ Jesus, who abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,

My Prayer:
Thank you Oh God for grace in Christ Jesus.  May your grace work in us for our good and your glory.   May your grace and love and fellowship be with us always.   In Jesus we pray      Amen
